A report by the Bank for International Settlements revealed that 9 out of 10 countries in the world are investigating the possible use of CBDC. We can see in the report that more than half of the world's countries are developing and testing CBDCs. The covid-19 pandemic in particular has been one of the big reasons for the development of CBDCs. Currently, the world has both record inflation and pandemic supply chain problems.

Its 24/7 operation and cross-border payment efficiency puts CBDCs one step ahead of traditional systems. Globally, two-thirds of central banks have plans to issue CBDCs in the short or medium term.
