Geoffrey Kendrick, head of crypto R&D at British banking giant Standard Chartered, thinks it is possible for the Ethereum price to reach its long-term target of $35,000. The UK's major investment bank first announced its optimistic target in September 2021. Kendrick predicted at the time that Bitcoin would peak at 100,000 USD at the beginning of 2022.

Kendirck thinks that the ETH price will benefit from the PoS transition. The anticipated network upgrade looks set to happen later this year after a series of delays.
