Germany-based technology retail giant Media Markt will place Bitcoin ATMs in its 12 stores in Austria. The multinational tech company will allow its customers to buy and sell BTC using ATMs. The company, which started testing Bitcoin ATMs a few years ago, will have the ATMs installed by Kurant. These ATMs will attract more people to both cryptocurrencies and Media Markt stores.
Media Markt Has Over 1000 Stores
With a pilot in Austria, Media Markt could bring its ATM projects to more than 1,000 stores worldwide if successful.
